I've seen Warmachine Models and most of the rules and stuff like that but question is where do I go to buy them? Is there a particular chain of stores or place I should buy them at or do I have to order online? One more question what are the required (rule) books to play if there are any?

Alot of local gaming stores carry Warmachine and Hordes.. So they usually have a small/decent selection of models when you browse.
It all depends on the community in which you would be in. A copy of Prime is needed for Warmachine... but they are doing a MKII of it and the play-test will be April 6th if you know a store that will be doing it. If you want to get into the game now, I would advise you to wait till you see what the new rules bring, so that way you wont read something, then have to re-read another rule book.
Welcome to the game, and what fraction were you interested in?

Either Cygnar or Khador. Probably Cygnar though. I'll probably won't be starting THAT soon because of my current lack of money and other hobbies I'm doing currently. (I can't walk up to my parents and ask if I can buy this and that like other kids.)

That's why you get a job.
Then you have to ask your wife.

Ha... poor Mal.. I'm only 20 and I've been wargaming since I was 15... because I got a job and loved money..
Cygnar has alot to offer and Khador is die-hard tough. It depends on what you want to field and what play-style you have.
Both Cygnar and Khador have great infanty units, and they both have strong jacks capable of dealing out alot of punishment.. Both can run full infantry-machine with support caster, and both can stand alone with all jacks. It depends on how you want to play and what everyone around you plays too.

He's in the US Mal... Hey, that's how I started, mowing lawns and doing odd-ball things to get my mini's for the weekend.. Paint was bought for me though because my grand parents liked the idea that I did something artistic instead of running the streets and acting out..
Since money would be an issue, I would suggest going with Cygnar, IMHO, you get more "bang" for your buck and all of the infantry units for Khador are amazing, but cost a pretty-penny...

If he can paint he can make some money that way. That's how I financed my early miniature game career.

Funny thing is, this is why some wives prefer we have this hobby to others.

man...odd jobs.
when i started wargaming i was in my second year of college, and sold plasma at a shady little bloodbank.
one donation typically equalled a unit and maybe a solo
if your gonna play cygnar, i've seen some rather good deals on ebay lately
