Hello,

I first started playing space hulk in the early '90s and started playing 40K in 1996. For various reasons, I started to drift away by 2001. In 2003, a combintation of my first child and a deployment to Iraq made me box up all of my gaming stuff and put it in storage. Fortunately, I resisted the urge to sell it all off for some quick cash.

In the mean time, I've played various other gaming systems, but for reasons I can't explain, 40K has piqued my intrest again. Well, yes actually, the Dawn of War PC series is probably what pushed me over the edge. Fast forward to 2009, I went into the basement and started opening up boxes.

After taking stock, it looks like my nid army will be the easiest to update. Now all I have to do is find some opponents.

Don't mind. I was mobilized in January 2003, spent three months training up, spent a month in Kuwait, did 11 months on the ground in Iraq and then spent another month in demob. Finally got home in May '04.

Hi! Welcome back to 40K!

welcome aboard. First let me thank you for your service to our country. I am a retired sailor therefore pm me at any time. Presently I am concentrating on fantasy but I have finished painting my space marines. And I am looking forward to getting back into them.
