Subject: Min/Max infantry point system indicates new packaging style?

I was just thinking that with the new method of taking infantry, it could mean that PP is now moving to a system where it becomes easier to stock for stores. Basically they buy the basic infantry starter, and a smaller "booster" box to fill the unit to max. No more worrying about how many infantry blisters to get.
This seems fitting since they're also moving towards plastics right now.

As I understood from yesterday's Pod Thralls podcast, Kevin Smith more or less flat out stated that future unit boxes will be maxed out units.
He also stated that we will, presumeably for a limited time period, get to but "booster packs" bringing our old 6-man units up to 10-man units.

From PPS_Biggie on the Privateer Forums:
We are decreasing the number of SKU's stores need to stock. That means that in the future all units will be sold at max size so that stores don't need two slots per unit in order to service their player base.
So, if you need to fill out your existing 8-man squads, you'll need to do so more sooner than later.

I'm sure the switch to plastic will make that easier on our wallets.

I'm hoping the make a single plastic kit for similar units. i.e.:
Stormblades and Stormguard
Knights Errant and Exemplar
Man O War Demo Corps and Shocktroopers
etc.
Same with jacks, anything based off the same chassis:
Ironclad and Defender
Sentinel, Charger, and Lancer
Hammersmith and Centurion

I dont think they will. The models will be same but you will have to buy at full price the different boxes to get weapons.
I hope they dont jack up the price so high to add the 4 new grunts.

Well the bastions unit is about the same cost as the heavy infantry boxes are, the difference being that in bastions you get the whole unit and metal boxes give you just the min sized unit. One can hope that they keep the same pricing for the rest of the boxes.

Which begs the question:
Will existing metal units be reboxed to the new unit sizes, or will this gradually occur only as each unit moves to plastic?

Out of interest are any of the Metamorphosis releases 'box and blister' releases? I know all of the Circle units are fixed unit sizes (Bloodtrackers and Woldstalkers).
