Do Paladins of the Order of the Wall have to be men?

I'm asking because I'd like to include two in my army, and I've got a spare female paladin figure (from Reaper--actually two of them) that would look good, but wouldn't want to incite nerd rage at the store...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I don't know.

I'll check my IKCG when I get home tonight and get back to you.

Nothing in the IKCG says it's restricted by gender. Go right ahead and use those female paladins.

Which paladins are you going to use?

I've got a Warlord one and a Dark Heavens one; they're both sculpted by Werner Klocke. I'll try to find pics.

Okay, here they are:

I know, not quite the same look, and will need some tweaking, but close enough for my purposes.

They need bigger shoulder pads.

Are you gonna go for a female theme and run Daughters of the Flame, Feora, or the Harbinger?

I've got Finari, she is currently a chaos lord of khorne for my fantasy army. I need to pick up the other one, they would totally work really well in a menoth army. Also, the Iron Kingdoms Priest of Morrow is a decent armored woman that should fit in with the same unit if you give her a sword.

The only raly problem i have with this is that those pallies dont have the standard mask of some type that is there on nearly every menoth model. It really is almost easier to count how many menoth models dont have ceremonial masks than those that do. As a menoth player... that would be my only real beef. And done forget to ass menofixes.

I play...

When I was gonna start up a PoM army back in '06 I used one of the figs as a color scheme tester, and I planned on using her as a OotW proxy.

Neither Vilmon nor the Paladins have masks. They have weird mouth-grills on their armour in case they decide to headbutt a cow while crawling really fast on the railway, but the Order doesn't seem to be that strict on the mask policy.

Until Grandpa Gravus rolled along, I might have objected to maskless Exemplars. But not Paladins. The scrutators, though, are defined by their masks. It's even in the IK fluff.
