Hello Dakka!
Finally taken the plunge and signed up for an account.
Yay me!

Ok, so, introduction…
I’ve been into the GW (and tabletop in general) for about 5 years.
Started off with a Fantasy Tomb Kings army, swiftly got bored trying to file the mould lines from between ribs, not to mention painting bone, and started an Ogre force. Both armies promptly got boxed when the new edition of the rules got released a month later, when I’d been trying to wrap my head around the previous ones and hadn’t yet gotten a game in. I’m out. But I did like the look of those Sci-Fi minis across the shop…

And that’s where it started. I can’t quite recall when the addition escalated, probably with my first Forge World order, but here I now stand, knee-deep in Red Scorpions Space Marines & itching for my next plastic or resin hit.

OK, so my collection? Well at present, around 99% of a Battle Company (sans Transports) over half of the First Company & more Scouts than the Red Scorpions fluff says I should use, sounds good right? Not from where I’m sitting. I have 3 TEST minis painted (you heard me), and a fair bit still WIP or plain unassembled.

This is where Dakka comes in. I figure I can get some moral-support from fellow far-gone addicts, feedback on colour scheme (I always get so hung up on this that I don’t actually get around to painting anything), and advice on list building so I know what to prioritise.

One final thought: Is there a GW anonymous? No? Maybe a patch or something then? Cold Turkey didn’t work out so well…
