My daemons that I am building for an escalation league for my local gaming center.
250 point blocks every month for 8 months, which theoretically means I should have a
fully painted, 2000 point Daemon army in little over half a year. Luckily for me, they
don't mind alternate models which is great since I am not a big fan of most of the
Daemon models GW has put out.

Troops:

Daemonettes
Fluffwise I just love the Daemonettes. Seductive, quick, and deadly. Unfortunately they don't
seem to work that way in the game. Oh well, I love the models and so they should eventually
be my main troop choice.

Not sure what made me decide to do Pastel colors, but they just seemed to fit the Daemonettes.
Unfortunately, GW's blue wash is WAY too dark to use on their skin, so if someone has any
suggestions to shade them, my ears are open.

Bloodletters

I needed some heavy hitters and nothing hits harder than Khorne, so I needed some bloodletters.
Yet I HATED their heads. Something about the cone head look turned me off so badly that I almost
decided on not doing a Daemon army. Luckily, inspiration came and rather than make me creative
and create something new, it encouraged me to blatantly rip off Alex Kolodotschko's Bloodletters.

My 250 pt list ended up being roughly

8- Daemonettes
8- Bloodletters

Next month for the 500pt game, I'll be adding in Bloodcrushers for a much needed Bullet Shield and
some Fiends for faster combat.

They are Prepainted plastic, though if the paint job doesn't suit you, a couple light coats of primer and you are good to go. Didn't even cover up any details that I could see.

Ok, those 'Bloodcrushers' are flat out cool. What line from Rackham are they from? I'm not familiar with Rackham miniatures. Great work.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Rackham: Confrontation
The faction was Alchemists of Dirz I believe.

Since they discontinued all their old metal mini's, they are starting to get hard to find. I got mine at http://www.miniaturemarket.com/home

they are aberration primes. nice multipart plastics, you can get them here, too:

you could have varied the poses a bit, though.

Those are actualy the PPP versions. Not the multipart plastics OR the metal ones (which look very different).

You can get those in any hobby store that carries Rackham products, or just hit up the warstore, lol.
