I've been joining alot of message boards lately... I'm here in search of discourse on wargames, and maybe, possibly, finding a gaming group in my local area. I've been gaming since the early to mid nineties. Started with Battletech, which will always be my first love, went on to play most of the games from FASA. Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, Vor: The Maelstrom, I wanted to play renegade legion some time, but never have had the chance. I've played
40K between 3rd and 4th editions. Still have a few thousand points of my Space-wolf derivatives tucked away in the closets. I've been a demo-team guy back in the FASA days (Still have my bright red Marauder shirts). Might try for the Catalyst teams someday. I've also picked up and played Infinity, Mordhiem, I have the beginners boxed set for
LOTR, still in the shrinkwrap, and I've also dabbled in Wargods of Aegyptus, WarZone, and a half dozen other systems.
I live in the Eastpointe
MI area, north of detroit, and have:
A newly minted game room to host games in. (New house, and the game room is large enough I could probably hold a small tournament with 4 tables)
Just hoping I can find some players. It'd be a shame to think I've bought all these books and minis without getting a chance to play sometime.
