There is the Bristol Vanguard club. I only know them by meeting various players at events, but they have an awesome reputation. Google 'em.

Just found this thread and my old club still meets at the Downend Folk House association if you're that side of the city. Games run on a Sunday afternoon, 2.30 - 7.00 or so, there may still be some WHFB and 40k players there.

There are a couple of other clubs I know of. Portbury Knights is supposed to be a very good club, they even have a bar! They meet Friday evenings and maybe others too.

There's also a club known as the Bristol Bigguns but I just know the name, not where the club is.
