Dawn of War deployment.
Annhilation.

Deployment:
He sets a squad of warriors with 2 dark lances in 5+ cover, nothing else.

I set a squad of 6 fire warriors out in the open roughly 26" from his warriors, with their devilfish right next to them.
I set my commander behind some terrain that blocked LOS to him.

Turn 1.
A raider full of warriors appears on the board right next to his footslogging warriors.
A squad of 5 Jetbikes appears on the other side of his deployment zone. He parks them behind some terrain the blocked LOS to them.
Due to night fighting rules, nobody can see my troops. His Raider takes a shot at my devilfish but misses by a mile.

I put my other Devilfish with 6 FWs on the board across from his jetbikes and move it 6" closer to them.

I move my devilfish slightly closer to his lines and open up with the smart missile system. It ignore night fighting rules. I kill 1 warriors.
I jump my commander over the terrain, but he can't see anything. I jump him back over.

Turn 2.
He moves his raider on the other side of the warriors and shoots at my devilfish again. Hits but fails the roll to pen. His warriors dark lances attack my devilfish, both hit, one penetrated, but it is saved by disruption pods.
His jetbikes move much closer to my devilfish.

One devilfish moves closer to his jetbikes. The other stays put, so do my fire warriors.
I jump my commander over the terrain again and take a shot at his raider with his missile pods. Both hit, 1 penetrates. Isn't cardboard armor great?
5. Wrecked. But it's open topped. 6 - KA BOOM.
The explosion kills 2 warriors, 1 in the raider, one footslogger squad right next to it.
the stationary devilfish opens up with everything it's got on the footslogging squad. 3 burst cannon shots, 4 SMS shots. 5 hit, 3 unsaved wounds. My fire warriors open up too. 2 wounds. He passes his Ld test.
I jump my commander back.

My moving devilfish opens up with the SMS on the jetbikes. 1 casualty.

Turn 3.
He moves his jetbikes way too close to my devilfish for comfort. No other moves.
His footslogging warriors attack my devilfish again. No effect.
His formerly mounted warriors attack my fire warriors. Only 1 can fire, but what do you know, he kills one.
His jetbikes shoot my devilfish. I thought it was over for the fish, but miraculously, no damage.
Then he assaults the fish. I really did think it was over then. but NOPE! no glances. at all.

I jump my commander over the terrain again. I also move my devilfish 12" to the direction of "away from the rest of my army" hoping he would chase.
My commander opens up on his jetbikes. 2 hits with his missile pods, 2 hits with his plasma rifle. 4 wounds. no saves.
4 wounds. The bikes don't even have time to scream.
My fire warriors and devilfish mop up the rest of the footslogging squad, they are left with 1 model, he fails his Ld and runs off the board.
With no way to take out my armor aside from me turning around and showing him my tailpipe, he is out of options.

Another victory for the greater good.

I'll offer some advice from my perspective as reader...

I'd really like to read this again, with the following:

1. Complete army lists so I can ponder the choices.

2. Pictures so I can see the armies and get a sense of events. Especially turn by turn and interesting events.

3. A Photo or picture of the battlefield to give us an idea of the terrain involved.

Including these three will make this a battle report rather than a list of sentences where 'my guy did this then his guys fired a gun at him' which is easy for you to envisage but not for us reading it. I think folks aren't commenting because they aren't 'getting' what happened and that means it's not sparking interest.

This is constructive criticism btw, intended to get you to post another BatRep or this one again with added extras.

QFT. It seemed like a fun battle. Post pics so we can see how cool it was!

Hello Guardsmen, look at your Leman, now back to mine, now back to your Leman, now back to mine. Sadly, your Leman isn't mine, but if they stopped using standard engines and switched to Lucifer Pattern, they could move like they're mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? Your in a battlefield with the Rhino your Leman could move like. Whats in your hand, back at me, I have it, it's the fire control for the Twin-linked Assault Cannons aimed at you. Look again, it's a Deep-Striked Land-Raider. Anything is possible when your Tanks move like Blood Angels, and not like Guardsmen. I'm on a Baneblade.

Did the DE not have an HQ?

Was he playing with the current codex? I find it hard to believe that 5 Dark lances, plus the 2 blasters on the jetbikes, all shooting at BS4 can't kill or even stun a single fish.....

Also 5+ cover save? were you playing on a grassland?
