Aloha and Welcome to game 7 of Panic's LasShamus Campaign. For this one battle I decide to switch sides and take my Imperial Guard and Pat takes Dark Eldar.




The set-up is Pitched Batlle and the mission is Seize Ground wit 5 Objectives
I win the roll but give Pat the first turn so I can take the last turn to take objectives.

Top of the First


Pat opens up with his Warriors armed with dual Dark Lances. Due to poor rolls and cover saves I am relativly unscathed


I return fire with my gunline and nearly wipe out a unit of warriors in cover.

Top of the Second


Some of Pats reserves arrive and I take some hits to my Russ unit as Pats captured Gaunt Warp Beasts hunt down my Eversor.


My Hydra sees a lot of action in this game as it alternats between hunting Raiders and Warriors

Pats Jetbikes move in and threaten my flank


And I counter with a platoon mounted in 3 Chimera and couple of flamers. My Orders are a big help (First Rank Fire, Second Rank Fire)

Top of the fourth


Pat gets in a charge with all of his remaining units. The highlight is his Archon on a Jetbike which charges my Company Command squad and dies to a failed Shadowfield save from my Senior Officers Powerfist.


My retaliations are swift and deadly. Pat has a few Witches and a couple of Mandrakes left on the Table. He conceeds

I played a real conservative game tonight. Pat thinks he should have focussed on one of my flanks instaed of spreading out across the table. I think he should have used Screaming Jets to get his troops into close-combat sooner. Oh well, either way it is an Imperial win

So for the Hawai`i to London Campaign thats Traitors 3, Loyalists 3 and a draw. Sorry for my treachery Panic, I promise to stick to the bad guys from now on. Well maybe until I finish painting up my new Gaurd units.....

I noticed that heavy weapons in squads arent doing the whole "2 wound 1 base" crap that GW came up with. Already had the models done and just decided to say fudge it? If so I feel the same way with mine....

Yeah I just proxy the base by assuming it is really there. It is so much harder to fit them in ruins otherwise
