Hello All,
I actually had an account here years ago, but have long forgotten it's name, and it seems like the Database here has been through a refresh with old accounts erased. I have been playing 40k since the end of 2nd ed, where I constantly got my ass handed to me by World Eaters, and Eldar on a regular basis. I eventually settled on playing Crimson Fists as my primary army.
In 2001 I started my Emperor's Children army, shortly before their Index Astares article was publish, IIRC. They are currently on a sebaticle, pending stripping, remodelling, and repainting.
I also had a Legion of the Damned Army and played Salamanders for a while as well. Still have like 40 or so LotD figs in need to being repainted. I haven't played much of 4th ed, kind of dropped out of the hobby for that, and the atrocity that was the last Chaos Codex didn't help either. I had an almost 5000 pt army under 3rd ed rules, which I am just thinking of putting back into action.
I just got the new Marine Codex in the mail today, I had ordered Pedro Kantor as well, but got a brother sergeant chronus body in the Blister by mistake, GW is mailing me a new fig.
I have always played a scout heavy force, liked the 4th ed Crimson Fist rules, as they wouldn't have hurt my play style on bit, I liked fluffy armies, so used 3 Tactical Squads, 3 Scout Squads, and only 2 each of the other choices.
Anyways, by my name you can guess I am a big fan of scouts, so I am itching to get back into the hobby, finish off my Company of Crimson Fists and (just need the other three Tactical squads, or could turn my 3 ten men into 6 five men squads...) and expand the scouts into a Scout Company to reflect the training of the Future of the Chapter.
Oh yes, in my absence from playing Table Top, I have been getting my fix in Dawn of War, but I need a new comp to run Dawn of War 2, and look forward to the 40k MMORPG.

~ Scout

Yeah, I got the 5th ed Marine Codex in the mail yesterday, haven't picked up the new core book yet.

Hmm, I will have to track that down, more war stories are always a good thing.

Well I already have 3 tact squads, 1 dev squad, 1 assault squad, 1 termie squad, a veteran squad, a command squad, 2 dreadnoughts, as well as my HQ choices done up for the most part. They just need some touching up from storage, and the cats knocking them off a shelf I had them stored on at one point. (Damn Feral Titans...)

I just have to paint up my 30 scouts, Pedro Kantor, Lysander (in CF colors), my old Captain Cortez figure, some land speeders, Rhinos, a Vindicator or Two (my fav tank), a land raider, a termie assault squad, and I want some scout bikes.
