So my idea is similar to what people have been discussing with regard to space marine groups and chapters that arent exactly fallen, or corrupted but more to the idea of doing what is best for humanity and so may be considered heretics. In truth, the Legion are one of these groups as their true numbers are masked, they operate independent of the Lords of Terra and choose only to help their brothers one their survival is in question. I also enjoy the idea that the legion is like the foreign legion, an army comprised of soldiers from many different sects and disciplines. There fore I have decided to convert my DA whom I now dont like as much into a Legion army which every troup has origins in different chapters but many of them will be what the DA call the Fallen, DA who may in fact follow the true Ideals of the chapter unlike the imposters who are now in their stead.

I will also be working on a Lord Cypher true scale conversion, as well as a mix of true scale and reg scale to represent the original astartes( true scale as they were far more powerful than the current marines) and regulars who would mostlikely be subordinates to the true scale ones which will be implied to have been around since before the fall. Anyways, Here is my first actual Legion of the Damned squad, which will use their specific rules along with my Legion of the damned Librarian, ROCK ON!! Dreads and Speeder require some work but are for the most part complete, soon to be venerable or ironclad will be larger than the standard model.

I really like the idea and the scheme is great. I love the skeleton motifs on all their equipment.
