I don't know if this has already been tutorialized, but here goes.

I will show you how to make a tank trap in under five minutes without spending a dime. Just don't throw away your base connectors, 'mkay?

Start with two crosses that hold four normal-sized bases together.

Now, take off one of the four pieces protruding from the middle of the cross, and file the stump smooth. Also, using plastic cutters or some similarly sharp utensil, cut off the cylinder on one side of the cross. If you wish you can file this stump smooth, too.

Now, glue these parts together; the filed stump to where the small cylinder used to be.

Here are two next to each other... Again, these are very quick to make, and a good use of excess plastic. Sorry about the blur of the following pictures, but you get the gist of it.

These aren't massive, but they work for embellishing bases, bastions/forts, or for creating objective markers.

Enjoy,
Rico.

Dang! I've been throwing those away.

Just goes to show, keep everything! Because someone might find a clever use for what you think is trash. Nice tut.

Thanks!

Any other C&C? I am wracking my brain trying to find a way to make them a little bigger, they don't seem as substantial at this size.

Look good for COD bases. You could use chopped-up sprue to make them bigger-not sure how that'd work though.

I know. I'm evil.
I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, strange, sick, twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff. And I want in.

Rico,

Great idea, but those are terrible photos!

Did you use your Macro function? Good idea!

Did you use Zoom? Bad idea!

Rico,

I agree. Great idea, but your phone's zoom is the fail. How do I know? You're my brother and I'm holding your phone...lol

I've been keeping these things for awhile just because they look cool and I was planning on using them as propellers for deffkopta's or something, but this is an even better idea! Good idea

You might get better results with 3 equal lengths of sprue. Good idea though.
