We all know, and most of us enjoy, WYSIWYG. Beside equipment does WYSIWYG also apply to model size? Example: I have an idea rolling around in this brain of mine for a Warhammer Giant to Deff Dread conversion... Obviously they will be different sizes. How would you rule that? Granted I wouldn't be pulling a, "No, no... He's not this big... He's this big" scheme.

"If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, he will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing misery and death to billions, his name will echo down through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes. Infamy is always more preferable to ignominy." -Fabius Bile

With true line of sight, a larger model is both a detriment to you (easier to see) and a bonus for you (can see more). I feel these things balance out, and as long as it is on the correct base size, should be OK.

I'm having the same issue with my exodites, using dinosaur models for my grav tanks. The stegosaurus I'm using for a falcon/fireprism is a good 2" taller than the regular model. As Mattlov states, it balances out in terms of LOS and cover, but get your opponent's ok before slapping him on the table.

Oh yeah, and post pics of the conversion in the P&M Blogs....

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
