I can't believe I'm actually doing this, but to offset trip expenses, I will offer a ride to one or (possibly two) to BaCon in Lubbock the last weekend of this month. If anyone doesn't know, they're having an 1850 pt 40K tournament over Saturday and Sunday. I have at least one friend going with me. There are some qualifications:
1. You MUST shower regularly. I'm not joking.
2. You must be able to stay in Lubbock for that weekend. In other words, don't expect to get back til really late Sunday/early monday (though it might be sooner than that).
3. You must be able to pay a share in gas and hotel expenses. We will either be staying one or two nights (Saturday for sure, possibly Friday too) at the Holiday Inn near the convention.
4. You'll most likely need to meet at my apartment or my friend's apartment and leave your vehicle there over the weekend, or be able to pay for gas for me to pick you up and take you back.
5. Not so much a qualification, but my air conditioning just went out. I have a town car that's nice and big so room shouldn't be an issue, but just an FYI.
