Well, I met sniperjolly up at the local GW for some good ol' 40k fluff fighting. It was 1000 points of Marines verses his faildar. (his eldar, which he bought around $150 worth for $55, some painted great, some unpainted, some assembled, some not). This game had the worst rolling in history. He rolled 3-6, I rolled 1-2. Needless to say, I kiled almost nothing. My devs were always on the move to their fire positions, so never REALLY fired. My tacs were gunned down turn 2, or howling bansheed on turn 3. My commander died to gun fire turn 5, and both my tanks were imobilised. This was a six turn objective game. The only thing that made this game special was the giant cusier objective in the center of the map. Which was destroiable. Turn 6, With four devasters, I destoyed everything on the board. I hit the lasscannon ammo in the ship, which exploded with the core and engine fuel. Everything died, and the game was a draw. That was my second full game with marines. Fun times.
