Greetings from Maryland! I just got into this hobby and I'm a rank amateur at painting, although I have a few ideas for conversion. I want to play an Ork Kult of Speed, only without the Nob Bikers (at least not unless it's an Apocalypse game, when Emperor-class Titans are blasting everything in sight and I need all the help I can get). I picked Orks for several reasons:
1. I find their mindset refreshing. I lost? Oh well, I'll just come back for another go!
2. I can get away with imperfect model assembly and painting while I'm getting used to it. It looks Orky.
3. I do a good Ork impression and can amuse (or annoy) fellow players with it. Hopefully I can amuse more than I annoy.
