Hi all, I've been reading this forum since i started playing again, just never got round to joining it. Finally decided that i should be social and join in the fun. I played fantasy battle on and off since i was 14ish or so but stopped when i went to Uni as had important things to spend my money on like alcohol.

As a reward for a gruelling third year, me and a couple of other mates who used to play decided to get back into it, though we moved to 40k rather than back to FB. I'm yet another Ork player as the AoBR set was too good to pass up, managed to buy it just before the price hike and split it with a mate who got the space marines. Currently have everything made and just making my way through painting while drooling over all the things I want to have.

Hey dude. AoBR IS a good deal. A few of my friends managed to grab a load of them last year when they first came out (before the price rise). We got 3 altogether. Quite the fighting force. The Space Marines are all up and running, however, the Ork player is dragging his heels a bit. Only signed up a few weeks back to the site, so i figured I'd say hi.

It is a good deal, but the orks are best as a buffer for an ork army, not a starter set. I don't think they even have a legal army but I am not sure.
