Hey dakkadakka, i have just recently succumbed to a hobby block (?) meaning i don't really know what i want to do next... continue with my blood ravens or start a new army, but what army should i collect, what should i do with that army etc... i really have no idea - ive been looking at the wh40k.wiki for fluff but the majority doesnt appeal to me as much as i would want it too.. i have some ideas etc to do but i don't know if i should try it out or not. I'm asking dakkadakka, what do you do in these situations?

thanks in in advanced.

*slightly off topic, but i have issues with editing photo's taken by me by photoshop and then uploading it to the gallery, suggestions?

By all means If you like your Blood Ravens continue but if you are looking for a change , I may have some advice.
I have found that when I have issues on determining a new army the best course of action seems to be picking something that is the opposite if what i play currently.

How do you typically run your blood ravens? Loads of fast attack? Try something slower ,IG artillery based army or Ork footsloggers.
Loads of heavy choices and dreadnaughts? Try lots of Eldar Jetbikes, maybe some super maneuverable Tau.

Playing your Ravens well rounded? Try a build to an extreme. Loads up on one category (heavy, fast whatever) and build to support it.

I tend to look for playing styles I have not used yet and pick an army from there. Helps to round out my game experience.

Just my .02

When I ran out of model ideas I turned to reading the Gaunts Ghost's series for inspiration. I am now building characters based off the book. This could work for you also. Find a series that interests you, and go from there.

Buy Imperial War Bonds!!!
