So, my buddy just opened a store locally and I've got some free time again so I was able to play my first game of WH40K since the new guard codex was released. I know, sad right? Just 1 question though, how did you get the veterans to infiltrate? May be an oversight though, since in the new dex the lose it in favor of the 3 optional special abilities which the vets can purchase....

Nice game! And it is these kind of cases (2+ armor save enemies) when a squad or 2 of rough riders get really handy! (I never leave home without them..)

Yeah, I usually never field an army without Rough Riders either but I was just trying to get a bunch of the new goodies on the table so the horsies had to go.

Man, I really screwed up on those Veterans! I purchased 'Forward Sentries' and got it mixed up with the Storm Troopers rule - 'Behind Enemy Lines' Ugh, I royally messed that one up! I guess it'll take me a while to get used to Veterans as troops. ...Plus I'm a huge cheater.

Lol you didn't cheat, you just were stuck in your ways. That will pass as you play more games with the new 'dex. Great report though.

Love the report, especially the way it was presented. Is there any program (outside of Vassal40k) that can replicate that?
