I play a Black Templars army with an attached Daemonhunters group, which has the single unluckiest Inquisitor I've seen thus far. getting ass-raped by termagants while wearing artificer armour and carrying a plasma pistol/force sword loadout has to be the most pathetic death you could suffer. I take that back.

they could'a been grots.

yeah, i know, but i'm always wary of that one member who is determined to make an ass of themself.
Penny Arcade would refer to them as "c*ckmongers".

Heh, how about a retinue?
My inquistor on the other hand has had monumental luck.
Once surviving 5 turns straight against an AVATAR (and getting it to 1 wound), before getting pummeled in the last turn. (and she's not immune to INSTAN DEFF)

Another battle and she smacked the Avatar about wiv hammerhand, then her crusader bodyguards finished him off. That's sweet revenge for ya.

wow. I had an epic duel between my Furioso Dreadnought and a Hive tyrant. The reason I bring this up is because of the Evesor I decided to involve. He was quickly dispatched, but the Biomeltdown was the killing wound on the HT. I have never laughed so hard at an opponent.

oh, and the inquisitor of mine had two GK'S and the aforementioned evesor tagging along. i just seem to roll an ungodly amount of 's.

When it comes to Assasins I love Death Cult assasins, becuase they are cheap, infiltrate, great distraction, great models (and did I mention cheap?).

But I have certainly learnt not to RELY on them in a battle. Often a casual bolter or two will make swift work of her if cuaght in line of sight, and even in combat she can easily get pummeled with a massive amount of normal attacks, leaving her 5+ invo with much to be desired.

However, every now and then they get lucky. Like the time when she ripped into my foes Dark Reapers, killing them all, then proceeding to get into close combat with some Avegers, killing all but the Exarch (who failed to kill her in turn). They were both killed by a nearby exploding vhehichle in the next shooting phase.

Khorne laughed his socks off at that.
