Nope, unless he was given a battlefield promotion by someone REALLY important. But I honestly don't think an Ogryn has it in him to kill his buddiez.

Nork Deddogg is the closest thing to it you get. Mabye an Ogryn would get the cap as a gift or something.

But ogryns ussually don't take a liking to Commissars.

Also, they're not really smart enough to do the job anyways.

Ogryns are too friendly. They're fiercely loyal to familiar guardsmen and officers.

Half-lings however (I refuse them to call them "Rat" lings) would do anything for better stuff.

An genius by ogryn standards can speak low gothic reasonably understandably and can count to ten without help. Thats about as smart as they get without the bone 'ead surgeries and things.

hmm....so an ogryn with an unatural intelligence (counting to 10 etc.) AND bone 'ead surgury could become a commissar? i think an ogryn would be good, cos if its nice and cuddly, and everyone likes it, if it wanted to lead them to victory, who would have the heart to say no? plus, if you would, you wouldnt, as their ripper gun wouldnt leave alot too be buried.....im making one ^^ (an ogryn commissar, not a ripper gun (im not that mad( i mean its not like i add extra brackets within brackets) to make a ripper gun))

You MAY get a supremely intelligent ogryn as an officer or colonel of sorts over a Ogryn Platoon/Regiment, but not a commissar. They would not shoot their buddies, and in fact would be more likely to go along with them.

A commissar, well most em, has to be detached to an extent from his men.

you wouldn't find an Ogryn as an commisar as there to stupid and wouldn't shoot there allies (unless in friendly fire incidents) plus you need to be an orphan of an high official and i don't think you get Ogryn's as high officials.

you never know! what if? by some huge misunderstanding, a high official adopts a hugely intelligent ogryn baby? whos then tradgically orphened when the baby squesses daddy too hard? could he then....become a commissar?

Commisars have to be trained and be smart Ogryns can't Orgyn with Bone Ead surgies are only smart enough to say there ABCs and repeat orders back to his squad thats about it.

A bone 'ead has the intelligence of an eight year old according to the codex so I find it very hard for them to do the whole political officer thing. They can barely wipe themselves, let along debate policy or recite the emperors holy word.
