Subject: New to Forums.

Greetings all.
It seems the forums really want to me to start a introductory post ... so here it is.
I am from Central Virginia, USA and play Warhammer 40k and starting Flames of War.
I play Imperial Guard and have 2 armies. (Cadian and Tanith).
Ive started painting and have about 1/2 of my Cadian army painted.
Hope to finish the other half in the next 10 years or so.

To be honest I dont know the points in 5th ed rules.
Still miffed Gaunt isnt a special char.
In 4th Ed I ran it between 1500-2000 points depending on attached vehicles.
I have enough models for 2 platoons of 5 squads + 2 HQs (Which when you gave each squad all of the tanith doctrines added up in points fast)
I would then supplement the additional forces with tanks which fits the fluff nicely.
Using Missile launchers,Snipers and Flamers as special weapons and heavy weapons only.
Sadly This was my first army and I havent gotten good at converting yet nor are they painted. (Using the cadian forces to learn to paint.)
I could start a army in progress thread with pictures but not sure if its worthwhile at my slow painting and updating speeds.
