Hello everyone,
I'm looking to buy a laptop soon, but I know next to nothing about computers so I was hoping someone could help. I would like to use the computer for games like WoW, but I'm not sure if it will be able to support it. Here are the details of the computer I hope to buy and the requirements of WoW:

Laptop
-320GB Hardrive Space
-4GB RAM
-Graphics Chipset: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD
-Processor Speed: 2.10GHz
-Processor Type: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500

World of Warcraft System Requirements
Windows Vista or Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1300 MHz
512 MB or more of RAM (1 GB for Vista Users)
32 MB 3D video card with Hardware T&L or better
15 GB free HD space
4× CD-ROM drive
Broadband Internet connection

Please help me and also let me know if you think this is a good laptop. It costs $699.99CA.

Thanks
Lucas

I would stay away from an Intel based integrated GPU as they are not as up to par as an ATI or Nvidia brand display adapter. In addition most brand HDD's will run at 5400RPM, so you'll definately be looking at longer load times from zoning. You can get around this by swapping the stock hard drive for one of the newer Solid State Drives, as their read/write speeds are scales of magnitude shorter than an Hard Disk. They are quite expensive though!

I agree with the above post, also, if possible, stay clear of Vista, its not as stable as people would have you believe and is purely a practice run whilst they develop and finish "Windows 7". It was the same as "Windows ME", they released ME because XP was not ready for release in time for the year 2000.

Also, despite my recommending XP to you, I'd also mention that XP can only support 3MB of RAM whereas Vista will handle the 4MB of RAM that are appearing in most modern laptops.

So choice is yours.
