Unfortunately I forgot to bring my planetstrike book so we ended up playing a regular game of 40k instead of getting to try out the new stuff.

Eldar win the roll off and choose to go first. He deploys as close to the center as possible with all of his serpents.

Eldar Turn #1
All the serpents go flat out into his back corner.

Daemons Turn #1
I choose as my wave 3 heralds, 3 dps, and 2 screamer units. I get my preferred wave. I form a rough semi-circle around the eldar. 6 bolts and 3 cover save's later no wave serpents are down.

Eldar Turn #2
He dooms one of the dp's. Dismounts 2 of the dire avenger squads and kills the left most daemon prince and kills 4 out of 6 of one of the screamer units.

Daemons Turn #2
I get in 2 horror squads, the blue scribes and nothing else. Both horror squads get bad scatters ( > 7 inch's) and I roll 2's for their mishaps. The scribes come in on target and breathe into one of the dire avenger squads. I shoot a lot of other shots into the avengers. When all is said and done one squad of dire avengers is completely wiped out the other is down to 3 model's. 2 screamers charge in and manage to destroy the 3rd dire avenger wave serpent. The other 6 screamers immobilize an empty wave serpent.

Eldar Turn #3
He dooms another one of the dp's shoots and brings it down to one wound and then charges it with a full dire avenger squad (they fail to cause any damage and remain locked in hth). The 3 man dire avenger squad kills the scribes. Fire dragons jump out and shoot at my 3rd dp, I fail 4 saves in a row and lose my 3rd daemon prince. The banshee's charge in and kill 2 of the screamers from the 6 man squad.

Daemons Turn #3
I get in all 3 flamer squads and the last horror squad. Unfortunately all the foot units except the fire dragons are in hth. I deep strike 1 unit of flamers next to the seer council wave serpent and one other serpent glance both of them so they can't shoot. Both the horror squad and one of the flamer squads deviate towards the banshee combat, the horrors and both flamer squads shoot into and kill all but one of the fire dragon's. The 2 screamers left run over and blow up the immobilized wave serpent. I shoot down the 3 avengers from the other unit. The banshee's wipe out all 4 screamers and get a 5 inch consolidate towards my horrors. Dire Avengers and DP locked in hth do nothing to each other.

Eldar Turn #4
He combi charges the banshee's into the horrors and one of the flamer squads. Kills the dp in hth with the avengers (the dp never actually managed to kill even one dire avenger). He killes 2 flamers from one of the squads. Council gets out and flames one of the heralds putting 4 wounds on it (I failed 4 out of 5 4+ saves here).

Daemons Turn #4
I hit the dire avenger squad with 4 flamers, when all is said and done there are still two of them left. I blow up another wave serpent with heralds, and immobilize 2 others (he moved too close here enabling me to jump over him and get rear armor shots on a couple). Horrors, flamers and banshee's whittle away at each other.

Eldar Turn #5
He kills the 2 flamer squads not in hth and finishes off the wounded herald. Banshee's continue beating on horrors and flamers. His fleeing fire dragon kills a screamer.

Daemons Turn #5
I kill the last 3 dire avengers with the heralds. My lone screamer hits and destroys the council's skimmer. Banshee's and horrors beat on each other some more, he kills off all the flamers.

Eldar Turn #6
His council makes it in and kills one of my heralds. Banshee's finish off the horror's.

I gun down the remaining banshee's with my herald, and the lone screamer down's another immobilized wave serpent.

Eldar win by 3 kp. At the end of the game he had a farseer council and an immobilized wave serpent. I had one screamer and 1 un-touched chariot.

Aftermath, this game was definitely a blood bath, and a lot of fun. The mvp has to go to the screamers that were knocked down to 2 models on the first turn. By the end of the game there was still 1 of them left and they had destroyed 4 wave serpents (2 immobilized ones, 1 moving less than 6, and 1 moving more than 6). I like to get a little risky with my deep strikes and that's probably what cost me the game 2 bad scatters and double 2's killed roughly 3 hundred points and gave my opponent a nice advantage. Also my opponents bad dice rolling with the dire avengers and banshees in round 2 helped him out when my flamers dropped and really had no targets in round 3.
