Can Hired swords (warlocks, elf rangers, halfing cooks etc) search for wyrdstones along with the other heroes in a warband.
Edit: To be honest, I was unsure where to put this or even if Dakka had any coverage on Mordhiem. If there is a better thread/section to stick this, lemme know?

My read is that other than picking skills, they are treated as Henchmen---which means they don't help in this case. The rules say that they primarily help just in a fight and will split as soon as their retainer fee isn't paid. I'd say 'no' they don't help you on that front.

Privateer is correct on this one.
Hired Swords are treated as henchman so they can't search for 'stones, as only Heroes can.
