Neophyte Undergoing Surgeries

Greetings Dakka,
long time lurker first time poster. I've been playing 40k for about a year now and have about 1500 points of space marines and growing. I've heard of 40k from playing Tau:Fire warrior FPS and DoW RTS but a friend got me into the table-top. Games are few and far between since i can't brave my local GW shop. (You took all my money last time stop selling me crap!)

Welcome to Dakka! I'm surprised you wanted anything to do with 40k after Fire Warrior. There's a lot of great stuff to do here. The quality of the tactics, rules, and P&M discussions here are well known. Don't neglect the 40k Background threads, however. We have some interesting debates over there from time to time.
