I've just received a bunch of Cygnar figs through trades and a few local gaming swap meets, and finally have enough of it painted to feel ok throwing some lists together.

350

Haley

Ironclad

Lancer

Journeyman

Hunter

500

Haley

Ironclad

Lancer

Journeyman

10 Long Gunners plus the UA

Gun Mages

and Reinholdt just because.

Any thoughts? I also have a Centurion, Caine, Striker, enough extra Gunners to make two min-sized squads, a Gun Mage Captain dude and 2 Bodgers. I would be fielding the Centurion based on reputation but I don't have the book or cards for it at the moment, and my torrent computer with all my files just fried itself.

I'd switch out haley for striker because you'll make more friends. Your lists are pretty good though.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)
Adepticon 2011- Combat Patrol Best General

for your 350- if its a mangled metal list, i don't believe you can have the journeyman, i could be wrong- as for the rest it looks good, the lancer will be able to use its shield to fry cortex's, the hunter's ranged attack is a nice choice to get in some damage, and the ironclad is always fun.

for the 500 point-

i don't have a rulebook at hand, so i don't recall what the longgunner ua does but it may be more effective to run the 2 smaller units instead, letting you spread out combined ranged attacks a bit more while maintaining a good amount of punch

i would say perhaps drop the gun mages and reinholt and perhaps add a more melee oriented unit, cause right now you could have some trouble when the other army gets in close. (looking at the models available, the centurian could also work well, its a mean jack and can deal/take some damage)

Journeyman is a solo, so no-go for MM. But if it's a friendly game, it probably wouldn't matter. Can you use Warcaster Attachments in MM? If so you could probably get yourself (or proxy) the tagalong minijack (forgetting the name) from Legends to round the list off.

Even without junior it's a solid list; Haley has the focus to handle the three 'jacks, even with casting Temporal Barrier (you're not going to be running all three 'jacks hot the whole time anyway...).

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
