Hey All!

Starting a Daemonhunters, I know I know...I really like the Land Raiders and was wondering if this a good choice for the army or a waste of points and money? If yes, should I go regular Land Raider, Crusader, or the Forgeworld Redeemer? Thanks!

The basic LR is the best long range anti-tank you have in your list, while the crusader brings some pretty nasty up close shooting to any enemy. Dropping five stormtroopers in a LR and holding an objective while shooting enemy tanks isn't a horrible strategy (but not a great one either, honestly). The crusader is a much better transport with the larger capacity and also is better up close against tanks with the MM.

I'm a Grey Knight player, and I play a Tri-Raider list most of the time from 1500pts and up. Love'm. Prefer the Godhammer ver the Crusader, yet if I'm running a Grand Master with retinue, I will fit out a Crusader for his ride.
