Hey guys! I've been prowling around the site for a couple months now and thought I'd go ahead and take the plunge.

I started playing 40k about ten years ago or so, when I was in middle school. I played a little bit of 4th edition, but really didn't have a whole lot of extra time in high school and college to paint or play. Now that I am a fresh graduate from UNC and am taking a year off before going to grad school I have some extra time and I'm trying to rediscover my childhood hobby.

I'm really bad at painting, but I like to think that I come up with nice conversions for my troops. I play both Eldar and Space Wolves, and right now I'm trying to get my Eldar army up to playing standards. It's a Saim-hann army, although it doesn't have that many skimmers, just a vyper, a falcon, and three shining spears that need to get set up.

I just moved down to Charlotte, NC and if anyone wants to get together to play or knows where I should go then let me know.

That's about all I've got for now. So hey everybody!

Playing Space Marine demo while GF was scrapbooking:
Me: I can turn it down, if the screams of dying orks are annoying you.
Her: That's ok, I love hearing the screams of dying orks.

My armies (W-D-L):
2,000 (about 1,200 painted and now I'm feeling the call of Russ) 3-4-3
2,000 (about 1,000 painted, WiP) 0-1
