Hey...

I want to start a skorne-army as my first Hordes-army and have the following idea for a first list:

Morghoul
- Titan Gladiator
- Cyclops Savage
- Cyclops Savage
Paingivers (4)
Catapheract cetrati (6)

(basically a starterbox and 2 units, so about 100 euro's...)

As alternate caster I am thinking Makeda or Xerxis.

is this list any good or should morghoul take an entirely different army to be effective??

thanx for any advice...

It looks similar to a friend's Skorne 500pt list.

I suggest taking the Paingivers to 6 instead of the Cetrati.

Either way, you have the points to take another light beast (Brute) and a solo or minion, or even the ferox cavalry.

Take both to 6 and you still can squeeze in another light or a solo.

EIther way, Morghoul is a sneakyfast assassin. I don't know about the Cetrati, haven't seen them. My friend uses the swordsmen.

Have you considered buying the max unit size, just so matching paint later is easier?

Bam, said the lady!

I was actually considering that

I saw the swordsmen, but Thought the cetratie are much sturdier and therefore good in combination with the titan.

Morghoul is fast and would benefit from a defensive wall, as his armour is low. He would be used to sneak out when the moment is right and try an assasination. Don't know about his feat and when best to use it though...

the paingivers will give pain to the beasts to heal or to make them insane killing machines.

The list was not designed to be at a specific points-level, although 500 will suit me fine for now. any othe tips at listbuilding? I tried battlecollege, but the listbuilding advice is not that great IMHO.. Primary opponent is warmachine-player (khador and cygnar). Don't know if that helps in determining best choiches...
