Just starting out here on the site. Been wargaming since 1990, though started with strictly building landscapes for my friends' Warhammer Fantasy battles. I have finally been dragged into the abyssal hobby of Warhammer 40k. There's no escaping now....

Cheers and thanks, guys.
The army I'm working on playing for the moment is Dark Angels. I came for the green (my favourite colour), but I stayed for the Deathwing. My start came with the Assault on Black Reach set; I traded my Orks to another gamer friend in exchange for more Space Marines. I currently have barely enough points for a Lunch-hammer match, but I'm also sidetracked running a Dark Heresy campaign for the roommates.
I do have a pretty nice captain that I customised from the Black Reach sprues with help from one of the aforementioned roomies (who also happens to scratch-sculpt custom Sisters). At some point he will be relegated to the position of a pretty sweet sergeant when I get a proper DA captain. I should be posting a pic of him to the gallery sometime soon.
I'm also becoming increasingly interested in Grey Knights and Adepta Sororitas, what with all the Inquisitorial influence of Dark Heresy. I might go in for some of those eventually.
