This should be in our Dakka tactics or army list section,I'm sure someone there will be able to give you advice on a list.

Hey!

Im new to Dakkadakka, but I'm a long-time Dark Eldar player. This is my first post!

I recommend using an Archon even in the first 500pts of your army as opposed to a Dracon, as you will be dissapointed with the Dracon as your army grows. Taking this with shadow field, an agoniser and a splinter pistol comes to 106pts which may seem high for a 500pt army, but taking 2x 10man squads of warriors each with 2 splinter cannons only brings you to 306pts. If you buy the battle force and an Archon you will also have a raider at 55pts and 5 jet bikes at 125pts. You still have 14pts over to make a sybarite with or to add more wargear to your archon.

I normally have some warrior squads with dark lances and some with splinter cannons and assault weapons, so that you have some squads to hold back and shoot with, and some to push forward and assault. If you separated your 2 warrior squads that way you could put the squad with splinter cannons on the raider.

I would personally prefer a talos to the jet bikes which would give you extra points to spend on your assaulting warrior sybarite, but that doesn't come with your box set!

Full on, Full on!
