Hi all,
I have been lurking here for a little while, I just got back into this whole shindig of tabletop gaming.
I started playing Warhammer back in 2000-ish, started with Mordheim, started a WFB Chaos army, and ended converting to 40k quickly, and starting a Dark Angels army. College prevented much gaming, other than some Mordheim and lots and lots of Magic: The Gathering. Then, after switching coasts and settling into a workin' stiffs life, I got the bug to start painting and playing again, continuing with 40k and my Unforgiven army. That was earlier this year, and I have been sucked back in quite efficiently, and with better digs and more money, its quite different than as a fledgling teenager!
I am in the Phoenix, AZ area (originally from the North East, NY, CT, etc), and am looking forward to playing more and more when I get the time (life can be busy!). I love the painting and modeling, and I am steadfastly trying to learn some quality techniques, as opposed to my teenaged-minds approach of just slap on color and play.
Thanks to Dakka for being a resource for me already, and perhaps I will be facing off against some of you in the future!
