I want to start a lotr army, preferably easterlings or uruks, because they're my type, heavily armoured, Depicted like legends in the films, and Uruks can get Trolls etc. HOWEVER, is there a way I can have both in the army? I have heard people use 2 terms in this forum, allied, and "part of the same army", or something, what are the differences, I don't know the rules yet because as yet I have not decided and will not get the £35! until I am sure!

Yeah in legions of middle earth you can allie your uruks with easterlings or whoever you want basically. But your allied army must have a heroe in it, so it cant just be 20 eastelings and 5 kataphracts it has to be 20 easterlings, 5 kataphracts and khamul the easterling or any other easterling heroe.

Yeah, I was more thinking,

Khamul
20sh Easterlings
(Maybe, If I can get over the price) Kataphracts
Troll
Urukhai
Urukhai Scouts

But I would have no problem adding Vrasku or Lurtz to the mix!
Thanks

Yeah, thats why they beat Kataphracts on my list.

I bought some figures of a person on ebay and it turns out he and his friends own the biggest collection of LOTR gw figs in europe, so i went to visit them. OMG! they had so much!! Like 30 mumaks! Over 150 trolls! My mum bought me a set a box of uruks and before she hid them i counted up the figs. I got in total over 300 figures!!
I also got some trolls, a troll shaman and i got a massive siege tower/assault tower thing.
He just sold the black gates of mordor on ebay, it was a massive 6ft board with the gates on it and the hills and towers. Look on completed listings and you'll see it, he will be listing more figs and boards each week.
He had a massive elven castle there as well!!!

It's kind of sad though, really, to have a collection like that, think how much money that would have cost.
