Greetings,
I just recently became interested in miniature wargaming. There has been alot of it lately at my LGS, so I've started cobbling together a couple of armies. I started with some Protectorate forces from Warmachine, but as WH40K seems more popular I've also started to dip into it. I started with the AoBR set thinking I would collect orcs, but after reading some of the lore Space Marines are beginning to appeal to me, specifically the Dark Angels.
I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to conversions and painting, but the hobby appeals to me and I'm looking forward to compiling a successful fighting force. Articles here have been a big help so far, and I'm looking forward to learning from the community.

Hey there. Hope it goes well. Lots of people are complaining about DA at the moment, but the important thing is that you like the army you're playing. Should be easy to make those AOBR guys look a bit more DA-like...
