Well the Old Ones are kind of like the Slaan from Warhammer Fantasy. But what would one of their ships be like. Assuming that the C'tan may have missed one somehow. Be organic in a way like Moya from Farscape. Or advanced like the Ancients from Stargate?

Would be nice to have any hints on their ships. IIRC those old ones let others do the fight.
Not participating directly in space battles maybe?
Could be a high tech ship with good defense but lack in offense.

Well they did make the Orks and the Eldar once the C'tan showed up to fight for them since their numbers where so small. But while they where just fighting the Necrontyr they kicked their butts all over the galaxy at large. More advanced ships and technology. Not to mention they are the ones who built the webway. But not sure if their tech looked more organic or more technological.

See, you've found the reason why there arent any old ones ships left.
Who needs a ship with a webway system at hand?
Plus old ships may end up as space hulks and it would be nigh impossible to seperate the "old ones ship" from the other "wrecks that still
fly somehow".

Old one ships are described in the Necron fluff as being hordes of unique ships, each different from the rest. It seems the Old ones were highly individualistic and could make their ships look like whatever they wanted.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

I always thought that an old one's ship would be sort of like a Forerunner type building from Halo 2

Same here. I always thought that Bungie got the idea of the Forerunners from 40k's Old Ones. They certainly share a few notable characteristics;
-Both were virtually wiped out by a galaxy-wide infection that corrupted and mutated all life (Enslaver Daemons/The Flood)
-Both left many ruins containing valuable artifacts on worlds that would later be populated
-Both still have servants fighting for them in the present day (Eldar against Chaos, Sentinels against Flood)

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I imagine the old ones whizzing round space on floating discs ala the Mekon from Dan Dare.

Actually not too far from what I would imagine an Old one ship to be...except instead of the Shadow/Vorlon ships, maybe a random collection of the other "old ones" (Sigma 957 etc.)
Of course this could mean there's the equivalent of the Vorlon Planet Killer floating around somewhere, since we've seen the Shadow Death Cloud...I mean World Engine
