Hi all 
I'm from Vancouver ( BC), been playing 40k since the late 80's (off and on). Just came back after a long retirement and am trying to piece together a DE army.

I personally play at Strategies on Main and 23rd. There's a reasonable crowd of 6 or 8 regulars, and another 6 or 8 who play intermittently. Don't think anyone else who frequents it is a forum troll though....

It's a pain to get to if you don't have a car though, as it's at the south end of Scott Road, nowhere near a Skytrain station. It was pretty cool when I went there before, around 2003/2004ish. They actually had a variety of armies playing, not just SM armies that flood the Metrotown store.
I live in Coquitlam though, so I make the occasional trip to the Metrotown GW.

Is that Darren Burke's shop by any chance? I heard he quit being the regional manager for GW several years ago and opened his own gaming store in that area, but I haven't gone out to find him yet. Darren got me hooked on GW stuff back in the 80's and taught me how to play everything lol.
