So, I really love Fallout 3. No, seriously. I really, REALLY love Fallout 3.

But... You gotta love the glitches. For me, they seem to be more frequent since I got it back after my RRoD. Anywho... What are some of the glitches you have seen? Any funny ones?

1) I was around Old Olney and was going past the Nuka-Cola truck and a Deathclaw appeared right in front of me. Just appeared. It then turned around and ran away from me. I was kinda confused and ran after it. At the bottom of the hill, it just shot straight up in the air and out of site. I scratched my head and laughed. I went down the hill and was looking around and then out of nowhere, the DC jumped out and started attacking me.

2) Random stuff flying through the air. Was exploring around and then from right to left a Yao Guai went flying and landed up a hill in front of me. Seeked up to it and it was alive. Well, not for long. Other stuff like a Radscorpion or two flying threw the air.

3) Was in in one of the power stations and I kicked the skeleton. It's leg came of and was bouncing around under a desk. And it just kept on bouncing around and around banging on the desk.

4) I was in Germantown HQ and there was a skeleton hanging from the roof, by it's head. And it just kept jiggling around.

No.1 happens to me all the time. I'll just be wandering around, and *POOF*! A deathclaw shoots straight up into the atmosphere, never to be seen again. It's like a scaly Rapture.

Yeah, I've seen the Death Claw thing a few times as well. Funny as hell the first time.

Today, actually, after downloading The Pitt, I wiped out the Raiders hanging around Bethesda Ruins and I still had one red on my radar and I could hear his voice but couldn't see him. I finally realized one of the supposedly dead Raiders was just lying prostrate and talking smack but seemed unable to do anything. I flipped him over and sure enough his lips were chattering away. It was good for some chuckles between my daughter and I.

Then I finished him off.

Mine crashes like a melon-fether all the time. The minor stuff like long limbs, random stuff flying through the air and NPC's running off for no reason hardly matter compared to that.

A friend loaded his 'just about to nuke megaton' save and saw Tenpenny's head sort of rotating, like a wheel if you can imagine, where the axis was the centre of his body. Seperate to the body though, which was unmoving... it's difficult to explain, and was shortly followed by a crash.

I rember i jumped from tenpenny tower and some random guy jumped after me! The funniest thing is then his head just fell off!

Not so much a glitch as a funny story...

Several months ago my ex-wife came over to take our daughter somewhere and was sitting on the couch (waiting for our daughter to finish getting ready) while I was playing Fallout 3 right after I got the 'Bloody Mess' Perk. She's born again.

I got attacked by a Yao-Gui and hit it in VATS in the head with the Terrible Shotgun. The death cut scene, in slow motion and close-up, showed the head vaporize with both eyes flying out in opposite directions.

Needless to say her nine year old son (with here newer husband) has never been allowed to play or even see the game being played.

Glitches with the new PS3 downloads:

Thankfully sometimes the Super Mutant Overlords and Albino Scorpions will just kind of freeze/get stuck at medium or long range while being attacked allowing several free shots. I look at this as a positive (at least for now) as those bastards are very hard to kill.
