Hiya guys ive seen runequest on amazon but i want to know what you guys think of it! If anyone plays it.

Bascally what ive got so far is its a cheap simple rp and i can get the book of amazon for £15 (latest ed)
Its other plus points are its only one book so i can take it on holiday and also simple rules to get family roleplaying.

Love to hear from you guys

Regards
S

Runequest has a long and noble history which you can read about on Wikipedia and other websites.

The reviews I have read of RQ4 are not that great. Old time RQers still prefer RQ1+2, the original Chaosium editions before it was bought by Avalon Hill. However, a lot of that feeling is due to the treatment of the world background, called Glorantha. As a complete newcomer you don't have that baggage.

The basic game system is simple and flexible and was used for games like Call Of Cthulhu.

You could do a lot worse.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
