Has anyone played any 25 point games? If so what type of game did you play and what list did you use?

Played a 25 pt Menoth vs Khador game the other week. We went jack-heavy to give the new rules a good test.

Menoth:
pKreoss
Revenger
Repenter
Crusader
Castigator
4 Choir
6 TFG

Khador:
pVlad
Juggernaut
Destroyer
Spriggan
4 Widowmakers

I have to say, MkII rocks for jacks. My MVP was probably the Repenter, who (loaded with focus and boosted by a choirboy) managed to kill off 3 of the widowmakers as well as set Vlad on fire. The Castigator got to throw the Spriggan, and the Crusader head-butted the Juggy to the ground to allow the Revenger to move away without a free strike.

The Juggy trampled over all 6 TFG after they had almost totaled the Spriggan on the charge, and killed five of them. The Destroyer got a nice critcal to lop both arms off the Repenter. Vlad should have had me with a surprising Boundless Charge through the woods, but he didn't have enough focus to do BoK as well and he whiffed his damage rolls. Kreoss survived the charge with 2 health and finished off Vlad personally. Good times!

The new rules for infantry formation and field promotion made using infantry much easier. However, it *was* trickier using the Choir in MkII, since they have to be so close to their jacks. I found myself out of position more than once.

Much prefer MkII to Remix, the new rules are awesome x10!

Just played a couple MkII games. Haven't tried 25pts yet, but soon.

I was the only person to have read the new rules so we did 15pt 1-1-1.

I had Pirates.
Shae
Freebooter
Buccaneer
Hawk
Sea Dogs full unit with Mr Walls.

1st game was Shae vs Gaspy.
Gaspy
Skarlock
Slayer
Bane Thralls min
2 Bone Dawgies.

Boy do Bane Thralls suck vs Sea Dogs. But Breath of Corruption and Hellfire hurt.
Did a run with Hawk. 15" charge on Feat turn with Coup de Main. That is pretty good. But wiffed on charge attack and left Gaspy with 3.
Last Bane Thrall wrecked Freebooter. Which left the Slayer free. Then it charged Shae. Ugh.

2nd game was Shae vs Nemo.

Nemo, Trenchers, Lancer, Hammersmith.

At third turn we had both used feats, pretty much wiped out each others infantry, and I had a Storm Raged Hawk charge Nemo. Left him with 1 point.

Knocked down the Hammersmith with the Buccaneer. Had 2 Sea Dogs in melee with the Lancer. Thought I was in good shape.

Screwed up and left my Freebooter too close to the Buc. HSmith got 4 focus thanks to Nemo.

It stood up for one. Walked up to melee with both my jacks. Wrecked the Buc with first 2 attacks. Wrecked the 'Booter with 2 more.

Left me facing Nemo, Lancer, and 'Smith with just Shae. I was one inch short of dropping "Blow the Man Down" on a Focus depleted Nemo. double ugh.

I think 'jacks work. At least I am more worried about heavies than I was in MkII.

The streamlining helps. If you hear a spell name or ability, you know what it does regardless of what faction or character has it.

For example, instead of Blink and Shadow Wings, Asphyxious and Lt Caine both have Teleport. Simple. I like it.

Bam, said the lady!
