Looking at the rules and am thinking about getting into Warmachine. What would an avg couple hour game size be?

Eastern Frontier Exploratores
224th Astra Legion (main army)
628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)
825th Foderati Cohort (in the beginning army)
1212th Foederati Cohort - Jokaero (cause I like apes with guns)

Couple hours? I'd say 50-75 points.

Depends on how fast you play! But I would agree with 50 points. That should be similar to the old 750. Honestly I really really prefer 500 point games, but people here absolutely insist on 750.

People used to insist on 750 because it allowed you to use all of the casters. Now that Epics can be used at any point level, I see a lot less resistance for 35 point games.

Well, with scenarios that force armies to spread out, I still think I prefer the
large point games. Let's see what shape competitive play takes in MK2.
