I don't think they are (although i use kitbashed tamiya tanks for my traitor ig, and it works most of the time...)they're about 8-9" big...

They are allowed in GW tournies, as they are a GW model. for a while they were not allowed to be picutred in another rule set, however I believe that the licensing issue has changed recently to allow them to be used.

Yes they are, however owing to the way the license works they won't be able to feature or show photos of any of your models that are or use readily identifiable components from said range.
