I am looking at making some considerably cheaper killa kans and deff dreads for my ork wh40k army. I know the kolossus are about the right size for kans but was wondering about the dreads, looking favourite for this role is the 'kossack' walker but if anyone can line up a few with a 40k model for scale, I'd be much obliged to you.

If you buy kolossi for kans you will be disappointed.

Well Lunahound's photo here shows them with kans and meganobs and they are larger than the nobs and smaller than the kans so with a little beefing up I think they will be ok.

So, same 'footprint' but the kan is bulked by arms.

The size really isnt different enough to be a problem.
Only thing i would worry about is whether people will allow you to play with them.
If you can, then its all ok.

Oh and to remind you , the base size is 95% identical ( the killa kan base in the pic is actually wrong )

Actually you know what would work better? buy these , the arm slot would work perfectly ( im assuming the plastic kit comes with extra arms and such )

Using proxy isn't a problem at all and these little metal spods will look more in keeping with my pseudo-imperial Blood Axe orks than the ramshackle models available.
