I know we have some staffers here (whether GW or FLGS), so specifically to you guys have you ever been aware of a sizeable drop in sales of something specifically because of rumours?

Was it quick and temporary? Or long term? Do you think overall the sales of the new things once they come out (if the rumours are true) equal the sales of the old things?

I'm not so much talking about peoples' personal purchases here, more looking at how many customers actually change their buying behaviour from the point of view of those selling them things.

Not a staffer, but was bemused to see GW Oxford Street Plaza still selling the Skaven Army Book on the same day that their Clanrat sprues were delivered. I feel guilty for selling an army book on ebay that I know is shortly going to be obsolete.
