Hey all,
first post in all, a question
If a unit gets hit with a barrage weapon that kills 25% of the unit, does the unit have to take both a morale test and a pinning test??

There is nothing really clear and not sure if you just take one test

Not got the book at work but IIRC, pinning takes precedent over morale.

Greetings btw

Welcome to Dakka, mate!

@Flashman: Wouldn't that mean you WANT to fail your pinning test?

Um... really not sure, but I thought you only took one test and it was the pinning one. If you passed, all fine and dandy. If not, down in the mud with you. The idea being that troops would dive for cover against this kind of attack rather than run away.

However, I admit I could be wrong.

Welcome to Dakka Dakka.

You take the pinning test after there have been any casualties caused by it. The morale test for losing 25% is taken at the end of that phase. So if they become pinned and also fail that test they fall back like normal. The 25% loss one cancels out the previous one.
