Ok, so I have a SOB force, and a SW force... and being that I like to buy things other then 40k and have something of a life. I don’t want to buy 5 or 6 rhinos for EACH army just so they can be painted differently.

So I was thinking of something along the lines of a "14th great company”

Started and ran by the inquisition (in secret?), working very closely with Sisters.... maybe the "Order of the blessed fang"?? Or something along those lines.


Painted up like regular wolves, with the exception being that their shoulder pads are black. One has , or while the other has something like the iron wolves marking.


this is just the 1st thing that popped into my head and the gears are still in need of much turning... basically im looking for a valid excuse to not buy lots of rhinos, and have 2 armies using the same rhinos, and not have people go "WTF, why are the SW rhinos in your SOB force?"



EDIT : o, I also have the best GF ever and am getting some wulfen for Christmas... mayhaps led by an INQ who is a few fries short of a happy meal? Or maybe one of those non puritan ones?

Someone who doesn’t think twice about using insane werewolves in armor to do some of the front line dirty work.

Maybe some ad mech rhinos and a lend/lease contract ?
Or paint them as taxi's ?

What you CAN do is say they are a "Renegade" Great Company. Over the course of the SW History, several Great Companies have split off from the Fang and gone to do their own thing (not that the Space Wolves care, They are still Loyal to Russ and the Empra, they just need to go Kick some but!)

I thought the wolves and the inquisition (and the Sob when I think about it ) arent really on speaking terms if you read too much of the new cheese flavoured sw codex

SOB's and SW working together? The only way that might happen is if they both happened to get trapped in the eye of terror and had no choice BUT to work together. Can the SW work with the inquiision rules wise?
This started a thought demon...
The daughters of fenis, the SW version of the SOB's. A band of feral fenisian woman who were somehow lost as young childern and raised by wolves. Years later they were found by the space wolves and put up quite a fight before they were captured. Too wild and indepdent to be let back into fenisian socitety they were taken back and made into an elite fighting force...

Above idea is awesome.

What can I say, I like strong women.

I might make for some awesome conversions, if bulled off right.

You might be able to us SOB armor with wolf pelts and SW bits and weapons or you can use IG mods with the female heads and wolf pelts SW bits

have not taken the time to read the fluff of the new SW dex... so SOB and puppies hate each other? my idea is slowly breaking appart.

You don't have to make your woman fighting team SOB's, they could be an all female IG unit that just happened to become allies of the wolves.

I didn't know woman IG's had "curvaceous" power armor

How about a renegade Space Wolves Great Company with a female fighting company using the SOB that are the nobility of the women folk and then a support Guard Force (IG) made up of both men and women that are just the common warriors of renegade force.

main problem is the everywhere on the sisters... and all of the

they have that as much as the SW have animal parts.

Dang that would pose a problem. If the SOB were plastic then it would be so much easier.

You might just have to use female IG bits with SOB bits...
