Subject: Bran Redmaw and (Great) Company

Steadfast Grey Hunter

My question is basically the same as this thread http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/264194.page, except applied to Bran Redmaw.
I chose to make my SWs part of Bran Redmaw's Great Company because he's honorable and doesn't soak planets in Eldar blood (like Gunnar Red Moon). I was thinking giving him Saga of the Warrior Born fits the fluff that he changes in the midst of a fight, similar to those with the MotW, minus the negative effects that actually giving MotW to a Wolf Lord would result in.
Other than that what kind of wargear and such do you think Bran Redmaw would utilize? Power armor, runic armor, or TDA? And is Bran or his company mentioned in of the fiction out there?

As far as I know Bran Redmaw's company The 12th Great Co. lord.. The 12th Great Co.. is known for having Wolf Lords who are rumored to bear the mark of the Wulfen, so you might want to have him and those of his company have more of a "wulfen" like appearance.

How do you know that Bran's Company is the 12th company? I didn't even know the SWs numbered their companies beside the 13th company.
Also, I'm not just looking for established fluff, but also what other people imagine about Redmaw.

There still are 12 great companies. However, we leave the numbering of companies to those chapters that spend more of their time writing books than fighting for Emperor or primarch.
As for Bran Redmaw, I would think that is likely to bear a power weapon or two into battle; likely in Terminator armor. I'm thinking that paired Wolf Claws might be the best way to go, to fit with his seeming desire to tear things apart. A stormshield with a frost blade could also keep him about to put out some terrible vengeance.
