Good Day everyone!
Being the diligent and dedicated scientist I am, I never have any time to browse the internet, post on web forums or to whittle away long time-points playing flash games. Because I am also a liar I present to you, in no particular order, my favourite time-killers I have been playing in the past few months. (Please don't get yourself fired playing these! Links are the first Google hit of the game for the lazy)
Bow Man 2 (
http://www.freeworldgroup.com/games4/gameindex/bowman2.htm). Simple, customisable, Gorillas-based (who remembers qbasic?) fun. I wonder if stick-men feel pain?
Crash the Castle (
http://armorgames.com/play/3614/crush-the-castle). Awesome game for anyone who has every built a sandcastle/snowman and then knocked it down. Hurl rocks at python-esque nobility.
Toss the Turtle (
http://armorgames.com/play/4421/toss-the-turtle). I played several distance-based games similar to this (most involving penguins) but this has replaced my previous favourite Nanaka Crash. Earn money, buy better stuff. Highly addicting.
Boomshine (
http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/boomshine). Simple yet fun game almost impossible to put down before you finish. Chain reaction game similar (I assume) to E4. The (excellent) soundtrack can also be downloaded from this site.
Desktop Tower Defence (
http://www.handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/Game.asp). I keep coming back to this. Still entertaining even when it can be beaten. Added options and customisation make this as good/better (
IMO) than the recent spat of commercial games.
SO. What are your favourites? Any thoughts or comments other than 'do some work/get a real job'?
