Prelude to Conflict!

Jan. 9th, in the new Bunker at, Granite Run Mall, Media PA.

The Conflict is nearly upon you! Time to get some practice in the week before! Whether you’re fine tuning your army, or dragging it out of the closet and trying to remember how to play after a year, it’s time to warm up for one of the first Warhammer GT’s of the season with a few practice games.

(Looking for more info on Conflict? Head over to http://theconflictgt.com/ for all the information on this two day WFB/40k GT.)

For this tournament we’ll be using points values used in the conflict. Scoring will take into account battles (60), painting (20), and composition (20). Composition will be scored by a group of 5 people, all of which currently play on a regular basis, and have tournament and GT experience. Compostition will not be based on theme, fluff, or story, only on how competitive your army is in a tournament enviorment. Painting will be scored by 2-3 people using a checklist. The checklist for painting and more details on composition will be posted later on the ShowcaseComicsandGames.com forums. Questions can be emailed to Mike Clark at Mikenjudyc@aol.com

This Tournament is the first to officially be held in the new Bunker we will be opening up in the new year. To celebrate, we’ll have food and snacks, and be running ‘Round 4’ down at the Ruby Tuesdays afterwards.

Prizes? Yeah, we have a few.) How does a pile of Forge World sound? We’ll be giving away several hundred dollars in FW models and books, as well as a few other surprises.

Basic Rules: 3 rounds of gaming. 1750 points for 40k, 2250 for WFB. No special characters for WFB. All models must be fully painted and based, and WYSIWYG. More detailed rules are available at the forums. Army lists emailed or dropped off by Jan. 1st receive a bonus to their score.

Entry Fee is 25.00, this can be paid by Paypal at MikenJudyc@aol.com
Reservations must be pre-paid, or you take your chances at the door. We have room for 50 people, maximum, for this event.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
